Summary of Position: 

Red Card's IT Business Analyst (BA) will be the technical liaison between business stakeholders and Production Support Development teams.  The BA will be responsible for ensuring that task requirements are written to meet the business needs, formatted for technical interpretation, and oversee project timelines to ensure project delivery.  This individual will be depended on to be extremely organized, analytical, and able to navigate through personalities and build relationships across functional and technical teams well, to manage/deliver projects in a timely manner.  He/she will also maintain a high level of technical and domain knowledge, and field project related questions from both technical and functional teams throughout the enterprise. A very heavy dependency will be in strategic thinking to build/maintain a reputation of reliability for serving and supporting the timely delivery of all Production Support projects.   Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data analysis, performance metric reporting, process management and engineering, time management, and administration duties for internal task management applications. Will manage/execute status reports on recurring deliverables as well as metric reports that measure the throughput and productivity for both Production Support Development teams, and present those reports to Executive to Mid-Level Management, on a recurring basis. The role will be responsible for supporting planned deployments, developer time/workload management, follow up on action items from meetings, meeting management, and coordination of deliverables.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Create, analyze and validate detailed functional specifications.
    • Coordinate and facilitate requirements/design sessions (as needed) to define the proper solution.
    • Interface with developers and business stakeholders when defining task requirements. Assist development in the refinement of technical requirements, minimizing them to the most efficient set of changes that still meets the needs of business.
    • Manage the inputs and outputs of Production Support Development tasks, able to negotiate project timelines (as needed) to ensure accurate delivery.
    • Coordinate with Production Support Development Management teams to serve and resolve impediments in a timely fashion.
    • Oversee daily review of Production Support Development task status and deliverables to identify risk and setting expectations with development and business.
    • Support adherence to Standard Operating Procedure and audit control points.
    • Follow established HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in IT Management, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience working in the field of software development or other IT related areas as a technical lead or project manager.
  • Aptitude and ability to quickly become proficient in the use of RedCard's core software application
  • Strong strategic thinker who is able to understand the organizational goals and can use technology, project management, and PMO leadership experience to reach these goals
