Summary of Position:

The System Support Engineer Global Services is responsible for maintenance and support of the Client Systems as described below, as well as the processes and applications related to these systems. Provides support services to the company and employees with primary responsibly for Client devices, workstations, laptops, mobile devices and applications.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 1st level support.
  • Deploy related client systems, components and applications.
  • Performing preventive and remedial maintenance of those components.
  • Deploy software to client devices using enterprise deployment tools.
  • Deploy patches, software updates, and anti-virus updates to client devices.
  • Monitor Client Systems component performance.
  • Ensure effective communication between Red Card personnel and management.
  • Ensure that Client Systems/Security policies and best practices are implemented effectively.
  • Creates, Deletes or otherwise modifies user accounts for Network, Windows, and Application access.
  • Follows documented processes and procedures
  • Follows established HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies.

Education & Experience:


  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other two or four year degree with significant IS experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex networking and information systems environment.
  • Three year system support Microsoft Windows 7/8/10
  • Three year system support Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016
  • Three year system support Dell Desktops/Laptops
  • In-depth knowledge of the following:
    • Dell Workstation hardware platforms
    • Dell Laptop hardware platforms
    • Desktop Imaging applications (Ghost, etc.)
    • Symantec Endpoint Protection
    • Mobile devices (smart phone, tablet, etc)
    • Printers (HP, Dell)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Scripting (GUI and command line)
    • Desktop Encryption (PGP, Sophos, etc.)
    • Application delivery methods
    • Microsoft based system security
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • Microsoft file systems (structure, rights, etc.)
    • Microsoft Exchange 2013
    • Instant Messaging (Lync, Skype, etc.)
    • Network topologies and protocols
    • Windows server operating systems
    • Apple Mac hardware and Operating System
    • PCI Compliance
    • HIPAA Compliance



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or equivalent) OR equivalent experience.
  • Dell Self Dispatch Certification

Physical Factors & Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within the local St. Louis area
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as required to complete projects.
