Summary of Position: 

Red Card's Junior Quality Assurance Analyst will provide support and assistance to the IT Quality Assurance Team. This position will be responsible for working in the analysis and testing phases of the software development lifecycle, consulting with all stakeholders to document test plans. Develop and execute newly documented test cases. 


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated testing programs and scripts
  • Participate in requirements and test case review sessions
  • Create test requirements, design tests cases and data
  • Execute test cases and report execution results
  • Log defects where actual results do not match expected results and retest defects after resolutions, as necessary. Communicate any project issues/concerns.
  • Study the automation and performance requirements and design test scripts, suites/scenarios, data and workload models
  • Execute manual and automation test scripts and report execution results
  • Collaborate with Development and Technical Analysts to ensure requirements and design are documented clearly and testing steps are completely understood.
  • Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information to project stakeholders and involve the management team to resolve significant deficiencies or issues in a timely manner as needed.
  • Participate in special projects as necessary.
  • Follow established HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • 2-4 years' experience in QA process, planning and testing required
  • Experience with C# preferred
  • Experience using automated testing tools such as Selenium preferred
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Gatling preferred
  • Experience with Mobile application testing preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of QA methodologies preferred
  • Experience testing data processing applications preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and SQL commands preferred
