Summary of Position:

The Project Manager will be performing project leadership functions which includes assisting with defining the project's objectives, retrieving scopes of work from the EVP, BPO for each piece of the project, overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle, acquiring resources, and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan.


Duties & Responsibilities Project Manager:

  • Create, implement and manage project plans in accordance with the business technical requirements and with the help of domain experts.

  • Prepare communication plan and project reports to key stakeholders to provide updates on activities and deliverables, as well as significant changes, risks and mitigation strategies.

  • Update the project plan on a daily basis, including deliverables, dependencies, assignments and outcomes.

  • Manage a multitude for concurrent project tasks throughout their full life cycle, from business analysis through project start up, execution, completion and wrap-up.

  • Assign duties, responsibilities and spans of authority to project personnel.

  • Create and manage work breakdown structures to be used for future efforts.

  • Identify and manage overall project dependencies and ensure project deliverables stay on time and on target.

  • Identify project risks and critical paths and manage mitigation process with project team and stakeholders.

  • Follow development process and project management best practices, and drive their continuous improvement.

  • Understand how technical issues impact the business drivers and clearly communicate this information to all stakeholders

  • Follows established HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies

Education and Experience:

  • BS or BA degree required
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • At least 3 years' experience of increasing project management responsibilities and successful project completion.
  • 2-3 years in Healthcare Industry experience a plus
  • Ability to customize project management processes, tools, and templates as required for the project
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple concurrent project tasks.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with all departments and at all levels of the organization, including senior management, and strong presentation and facilitation skills.
